You and your loved ones depend on your regular income. That’s why Platte County R-III School District offers disability coverage to protect you financially in the event you cannot work as a result of a debilitating injury or illness.
This policy provides benefits to replace a portion of your income while you are disabled. The amount you receive is based on the amount you earned before your disability began, subject to all policy provisions.

Plan Highlights
Maximum Monthly Benefit of $6,000
Covers 60% of your salary
Benefits begin on the later of 90 calendar days after the onset of your disabling injury or illness or the date your short-term disability ends.
